We Carry Eachother/ Minutiae no. 1

Just some cute hand made books by an illustrator called "Sprout head". All the images were screen printed from hand drawings and the book was hand bound - You can get one from Etsy.com

Spot printing

Spot vrnish on stock - the idea is you get your hands dirty to uncover the message - i want one!

Roman Klonek

Some amazing woodcuts, the colour contrasts are eye catching and he has an illustrative style the really appeals to me.

Don't Beleive the Type

hand-bound book with lyrics from three Public Enemy albums. Got an honorable mention at the 2006 Adobe Design Achievement Awards. Was the Winner of the Austin Chronicle Best of Austin 2008 Critic's Pick.

Not suprised either its a genius idea. Essentially the works of public enemy have been given a bible like form.

By the way the book was printed by the use of movable type.

Armley Mill

Went to Armley mill yesterday, despite from the place being haunted, there were some print presses there and loads of stuff about moveable type, how to do it ect. Was a good little day out and definately a useful one.

Kev Grey

Tatoo artist, also does iluustration + illustrated type for records, flyers etc and provided the art for the mainstage at download festival.

This man WILL TATOO ME.

We love music and the environment too

Some nice packaging from some senheisser earphones, flat pack, 3 colours on stock and each panel is numbered so you can repackage the earphones. was a nice change from endless bits of cellotape and mountains of bubblewrap!
